0.6mm nozzle

Just purchased a 0.6mm nozzle for the Ender 3 v2 other than changing the nozzle size in the printer profile any other things I should be aware of?

0.06 or 0.6??? If it really is 0.06 I think you are going to have interesting times trying to avoid skipping, jams, and clogs.

Can I blame it on spell check? I meant 0.6mm

nah, it’s cool. Just wanted to be sure, and not give others weird ideas to try.

I tried changing the title but it wouldn’t let me.

Is this thinking straight? With a 0.6mm nozzle your layer heights should be 1.2mm, 1.8mm 2.2mm etc so that your layer height is a multiple of 0.6mm

Uh, no. With a 0.4mm nozzle, you typically have layer heights of 0.12, 0.16, 0.20, 0.24, 0.28. So, with a 0.6mm nozzle, I would think you would use 0.18, 0.24, 0,30, 0.36, 0.42.

Man I’m having trouble with my decimal point for some reason. I’m going to contribute it to a brain fart!!

Thanks for clarifying that for me @Ender5r

You’re very welcome. I just had a nightmare thinking you might actually try to set a layer height over 1mm. Lord only knows how that would turn out.
