I first decided filament spool could be easily removed, and stored on bed plate, but quickly found not convenient in use. I designed simple clips for quick release. The long side of clips goes on spool side. Clips are easy to install, 4mm pan head screws, sunk in from bottom, so not to interfere with extrusion, nuts on top. To attach short finger of extrusion inserted in rail at 45 degree angle, spool mount rotated to vertical, long fingers grab extrusion bottom. To release, long fingers pulled away from extrusion as spool mount is rotated away.
