So everyone knows I am 67 and decided to teach myself 3d printing and scanning 4 months ago so I am learning I bought a V2 Neo that only prints on the far right of the print table and only if I slice it on far left side of the print table. When I press LEVEL it only does 4 points on the far far right side of print table. I bought another brand printer and have not had a fail print yet around 25 prints so at least I still like printing if it was up to Creality I would have gave up months ago
Welcome to the club. I Got my first printer when I was 68. I’m no expert in Marlin, which I assume is the firmware, but it sounds like your Zero offset setting is wrong. Have you tried to reset the firmware to the factory settings?
Edit: thinking about it it could also be in the slicer settings.
hi, I think mini 3D printer are ideal for seniors to learn and experience technology. It is easy to operate, occupies small space, safe and reliable, suitable for family use. Through the simple touch screen and friendly interface, the elderly can easily make crafts, practical tools, etc., which not only enrich life, but also promote active thinking, adding fun and creativity to life.
Have a look at your Slicer Settings
Go into your Printer Settings,
Look at the section where your bed measurements are
Look for “Origin at Center” or something similar (depending on what slicer)
UN CHECK IT
This puts 0,0 (normal home position) in the middle of the bed
Basically
Even if your “HOME” position is front left of bed … as normal people have it
When the print starts it will start from 0,0
Hence all prints will shift to the right half of the bed
