Sorry I meant CO. Haven’t thought about chemistry since I worked in a lab 50 years ago or more.
I’ve always thought it was weird that the body cannot measure oxygen directly, but it is what it is.
Mentally we can tell that we lack oxygen I think. Like people climbing mountains.
