I noticed in Mainsail there are some updates there are several updates to the OS and updates for Klipper, Moonxxxxxx, & KlipperScreen do you guys update when these appear? With the syntax changes they make I’m leary of doing this.
I strongly recommend making a backup before updating. Cloning the SD card might be the best option. 'Course, you well know that backing up before updating has been SOP for computer systems for many decades.
I copy all the config files to my laptop HD for backup. Cloning the SD card would be a good idea too.
For sure, copying the config files is a great practice. In this case, of course, we’re talking about the actual software, which is why I suggest cloning. If the updates break something, at least there’s a quick and easy recourse.
