Updated my creality software now I can’t direct connect to my Ender 3 Pro printer.
Did you skip a bunch of updates on it? Sometimes this creates an issue.
Does your Ender 3 Pro boot up? I’m assuming your talking about connecting using a USB cable. If so have you tried a different cable? Any error messages?

Should I take my Ender computer apart and clean it?
All of the functions work. The Ender shows no media. All of the connections seem fine.
My only other thought is to go back to Creality 5.0 software.
Cleaning would hurt but i really dought it will fix your problem. If you put a file on a usb thumb drive are you able to print? If yes your usb port should be fine.
there are 2 types of usb cables, data & charging. Charging cables wont work for data, the bad thing is they look the same.
The only computers i connected to my Enders were Raspberry Pi’s running Octoprint.
Have you tried rebooting you PC?
Yes I bought a new data transfer cable.
I haven’t tried connecting my micro chip using a micro usb connection.
