Is this profile for just the all metal hotend or is it for the microswiss direct drive and an all metal hotend? canât tell
Make sure everything in the hot end assembly is tight. Any gaps which are common between the hot end components it is not assembled perfectly will cause this type of jam.
Thank you very much for publishing this profile, it really helped a lot with my ender 3 pro. I canât begin to describe how many hours Iâve wasted trying to pin down the parameters that were the root cause for the stringing and now Iâve finally resolved it.
Hi! just got my first 3D Printer - 3v2 with Creality Direct Drive. any special recommendation for this kind of setting? thanks a lot!
If this is your 1st 3D printer, the 1st thing I recommend is to NOT try to start printing actual models right away. We all want to. Itâs exciting: a new technology, new things to try and do, but I donât think itâs the right way to start.
For me at least, the first thing to do is ensure the printer is set up correctly, Make sure itâs properly aligned, all the joints are belts are tight, all the carriages move easily and smoothly with no bumps or rough spots. Make sure the printer powers on OK, and can home the X, Y, and Z axes.
Once all that is done, move on to test prints: extruder calibration, bed leveling (tramming), stringing test models, temperature test towers, etc.
Do a lot of research, watch a bunch of videos, from DrVAX and others. Take things step by step, increasing your knowledge and skills as you go.
Welcome to the forums, and good luck with your printing efforts.
I think they should be similar. One of the things I like about the Micro Swiss extruder is that everything is easy to get to. Hopefully, it will not be difficult for your to clear the jam.
hello guys- greetings I bought a CR 5 PRO H, from creality and investigated and it is allmeta hot end. in pla they make horrendous jams. I switch to petg and am dealing with threads. I will try this configuration. by the way there is little information about this printer if someone can give me a hand it would be very useful
