I do not know the Et5x but, if a 32 bit controller board, such as a BigTree or TH3D, will fit & work with that printer, I would recommend that router over an ST-Link. It’s only slightly more money & would give you the ability to update the firmware from an SD card. Much easier. It would also provide enough storage memory to hold a full version of Marlin 2.x.
