I use this hot end V6 All-Metal HotEnd – E3D Online and they said that it is All-Metal and the little tube still exist.

I a, also looking at selling my ender and getting the same printer Ender 5r is looking at. A dual hot end system that opens so many possibilities that it is hard to conceive now.

Ah, that was my question: does it have a PTFE tube in the neater block? So you’re saying it does.

I use direct drive. It’s the best way to print all filament types.

what kind of direct drive do you use Vasilli?

Bondtech! It’s the best in the market!

OK, time for a cage match. In this corner we have @Vassili_Finellis with his Bondtech direct drive extruder. And in the opposite corner we have @woodwaker_dave with his OmniaDrop direct drive extruder.

Should be interesting, I’m all ears.

They deliver both. You can assemble it with the bowden heat pipe or all metal. At least the clones came with 6 (4??) heat pipes, ptfe and all metal.

Do you use a Hemera hotend? If yes, do you use with, or without, PTFE?

LOL!!! Bondtech extruders works for me as well as for other users. After that it is very easy to maintenance. The support is great. There are lots of spare parts in the market too so you never have problem to change a gear or a micro bearing. It’s very important to have aftermarket support.

Then was site’s misinformation about the product i ordered.

Well guys, look what i’ve found for my hot end ( E3D V6 J head ).
All metal throat ( extruder pipe ) Extruder Pipe 1.75mm Filament (E3D V6) 1,50 Euros
With teflon tube https://grobotronics.com/extruder-pipe-1.75mm-filament-m6x26mm.html 1,50 Euros.

I already ordered some to to change my free hot ends into all metal to print PP and higher temperature filaments.
Of course harder plastics will not stack into the throat like TPU or flexible filaments.
Will test and let you know guys.

Isn’t that cool: a conversation in this forum has led to discovering an option we didn’t know about before. I look forward to reading about your results @Vassili_Finellis

Me too. I’m going to prove that old dogs can learn new tricks…slowly.

I never had the choice. They put both into the bag.

Probably cheaper than creating two different products.

I always used the teflon tubing and never even tried the all metal. Printed up to 240°C.

I sense a test coming on

The day after tomorrow will arrive the package . Three All metal extruder pipes. These pipes can handle up to 280[SUP]o[/SUP]C

Never old for new tricks…even slowly! There is a saying: Getting older and still learning!

Believe me, i choose E3D J heads, was because i could maintenance 'em easily. But this is beyond my imagination.
