Walnut Bowl with Food Safe Wax Finish

Made this bowl with my son who spends a lot of time doing analytics, excel, data manipulation, process optimization, Powerpoint Decks, and other big consulting firm related tasks for his day job. Making sawdust is a wonderful release.

We are still working on our sanding and finishing technique.

That is impressive! Looks great!

Where do you get your wood? Aside from the big box stores that carry pine, poplar, and limited red oak and cedar, about the only place I’ve had any luck getting wood from is a local cabinet shop. Though I try not to overstay my welcome there.
