22 IDEX - High Temperature Dual Extrusion 3D Printer for PEEK, ULTEM, PPS and Carbon Fiber 2022 - YouTube. This one really has features along with a hefty price tag, but it is professional.
Very interesting indeed. I’d have to win a lottery to afford it though. Honestly, @ $8800 US it’s not ridiculously expensive, but it’s well out of the reach of most hobbyists.
A small savvy business/geek could probably make some money making prototypes with that machine. You would probably need some other processing investment but it wouldn’t be an outrageous amount to start a small business. The material they print is often $600 / roll for the cheap stuff. It would be like a self employed taxi driver buying a car.
Oh, I get that. PEEK and PEK filaments are really pricey.
Producing a prototype can be so costly in time and money that it could be a very good business for the right entrepreneur. Work from home. Get Amazon to pick up and deliver.
I’m not sure how their store business works but their delivery is phenomenal. What a plus for a prototype business.
