Ender 3 V2 came in a few days before Christmas. Fan motor on hot end started making noise after a couple of prints. I have emailed Creality’s CS and am in the process of getting a fan motor from them (I think). Can anyone give me a link to buy a replacement motor in the mean time, Amazon or the like? Thanks in advance.
I guess the best fans are Noctua-Fans. They are a little on the expensive side, but the best when it comes to silence.
Doesn’t the Ender 3 V2 use 24V? Does Noctua even make a 40x10 mm 24V fan? Mind you, there are a number of such fans on Amazon. I would recommend 1 with dual ball bearings.
Would this fan fill the bill?
That’s 1 of the ones I looked at.
Thanks gentlemen for your time. I will get these ordered. I fully expect Creality to send me a replacement fan, I have read good things about their customer service, just not sure how long it will take. With these fans I will be prepared if I have a failure.
I would not be surprised if you find the non-Creality fans quieter, with less vibration. Also, a number of people have posted that the fans that come with the Ender 3 V2 don’t last long at all.
The fan on my Ender 3 v2 also started rattling not long after I purchased it. In my case it was the part cooling fan doing the rattling. I too the shroud off and tightened the screws holding both fans and the rattling didn’t quit entirely but is MUCH better. Mine only rattled for a couple of minutes then quietens down.
I recently bought a fan from I think we're going to pass on selling these BD Sensor levelers. #shorts - TH3D Studio LLC have a 3 y/o Ender 3 pro that was giving me heat creep and after watching a video done by the owner of TH3d. I can’t find his video because he’s done so many. This is the fan he recommended. [TABLE]
