On switch on my Ender 3 with firmware V1.0.7 shows a nozzle temperature of 522 degree cemtigrade and refuses to print with an error message of “Nozzle is too lowperature” while squealing.
Please tell me how i repair this.
Have you checked the temperature sensor (thermistor) in the hot-end? Maybe the wires to it are damaged or disconnected somewhere between the control board and the sensor. Or maybe thermistor itself is damaged somehow.
[CoreyPDX] had a good suggestion. If you have a spare you can hook that up without installing it, to see if it shows a normal reading. You could also check the Ohm reading on the one installed, I can tell you exactly what the reading should be, but not open or short. If this is a stock hot end it should be a very inexpensive replacement. You might also try the old firmware. If that does not have an error, maybe a firmware problem
Thank you. I have replaced the hot end as the old one was quite covered in goo and I could not see an easy method of just replacing the thermister. All good now and thanks to all for the suggestions.
Glad you got it running again. It is worth having a spare if you plan on using it for a long time. This is one of the parts that can have a sudden death.
