I have a webcam on top of my monitor and can unplug it and use an extender cable to have it mobile. Quite handy. I can also plug it into a raspberry pi to have a mobile webcam.

I actually have a very long usb chord to extend things and used to use it when I used to do things, which happens less and less as you come to grips with old age,
Thank you, I will try that. My Mona Lisa lithophane turned out quite good. I would like to get a pic of that to show you.
