A Cat-astrophe

So yesterday, she who must be obeyed came to me and told me to make a holder for the cats’ litter scoop. She was tired of bits of litter ending up on the floor.

In F360 I designed this:

The clip on the left slides down into the slots in the back of the cup on the right.

Installed it today. She is satisfied

It’s a mundane thing, but it solves her issue. She hasn’t been able to find anything online that would do the job… exactly the kind of thing I most like to print.

An excellent example of a practical just-in-time 3d printed model. Doesn’t need to be a perfect print, it just needs to work and be strong enough to keep the cat poop off the floor.

It was printed using 0.3mm layer height @ 120mm/sec.
