Building inspectors will have to trained in 3D printing.
I’ve seen a number of 3D printed buildings, although I believe they were all proof-of-concept projects. One of them was proposing to use a special concrete that has air bubbles in it (a concrete mix that actually floats on water). The idea is that it would make the walls self-insulating, keeping out both cold & heat. It will come, but it’s taking longer than I thought it would.
