I was ab;e to do a filament change in cura butthe filaments didn’t bind for whatever reason and there was near;y no big delay,
That’s not encouraging.
Was the hot end up to temp, I guess it would be since it melted the filament. I found that after a M600 it allows me to extrude filament multiple times until I am sure the color has changed, then it goes back to the last place it was printing when the filament run out error occurred. If there is a lot of time that has passed the print may have cooled off and made adhesion more difficult.
Lets just say the quicker the better. also depends on the print, if it is fat - thick walls probably better,
That is my main concern. If I splice the rolls together it’s not a concern.
