# I saw a very interesting video on Makers Muse about a bed material.

The folks at MatterHackers recommend this material, Garolite, for printing Nylon. I really like having a flexible build plate to aid in removing prints so I use the LayerLock print surfaces also from MatterHackers when I want to replace/upgrade a print surface.

I wasn’t clear on the recommended thickness. Is it 1/16th? Maybe I need to watch it again. 🙂

He recommended 1.5mm thick sheets which is about 1/16" I want to try this
