The pistol grip controller for my RC cars has a steering wheel & trigger for speed and brakes. So it takes 2 hands to use it. Sometimes it's nice to be able to drive with one hand and give the the other one a rest. With this in. mind I design a new foam cover for the wheel made from TPU with an extension to be able to drive with the thumb on the left hand.
The rough texture was created with Prusaslicer using their skin function on the outside walls. I think smooth it might be a little slippery.
This is it mounded on one of my transmitters, also made it a litter thicker than the original foam that was one the wheel.
