What sites have good stl files

Hi

I’m new to 3D printing and was wondering if there are other goods sites like Thinkiverse where I can download STL files?

You might have better luck going to thinGiverse.com ??

Check out this site of a list of 3D model sites: https://www.hongkiat.com/blog/60-excellent-free-3d-model-websites/

A few days ago I explored this list: https://all3dp.com/1/free-stl-files-3d-printer-models-3d-print-files-stl-download/

Thingiverse seems to be the granddaddy of the 3D printing model sites. I haven’t found any other sites with stuff I’ve wanted to print, but I’ll be watching this thread to see if anyone has uncovered something I’m missing.

The search of thingiverse is broken like hell. If you want something use google and insert “thingiverse”. This will give even better results

A Google trick I use all the time is to add “site:thingiverse.com” or whatever to a search. It restricts results to whatever domain you enter.

I am a new member here, Actually I am working on pos receipt printer site,
and it’s pretty much good on it.

You probably already know https://www.stlfinder.com/

Tried it but Link doesn’t exist sorry

Tried on different browser and working for me.

Chrome works lol thanks for the site, looks pretty good ?

I also look on Yeggi and Thangs. But, just like Geit said, when I can’t find anything, I often Google it and add either 3D model, 3D print or STL. That said, I have had good luck with turning OBJ files into STL files too, by converting them in Blender.

Sorry but as the sponsor of this forum, I am going to make a pitch for a product we have released in beta that will go live in the next month.

models.makewithtech.com is a bit different. Instead of static models (STL files), you select a template and customize it for your purpose. Currently, there are about 150 templates; however, we have another 500 in QA that will support ten of thousands of model variations.

Selecting a template, customizing, and downloading an STL will always be free. Modestly priced premium subscriptions will give you more storage and enhanced features without ads.

Head off to https://models.makewithtech.com. Register with no credit card required and then start customizing models.

models.makewithtech.com also lets you search thingiverse.

P.S. We are using subscription revenue from models.makewithtech.com as a way to underwrite the costs of this forum and other fee services to the 3d printing and maker communities. We have already contracted with https://discourse.org/ to migrate this forum and all of the accounts and content to a new state-of-the-art platform.

I usually to to Printable.com to start searching have many of the same files as Thinkiverse but also some it doesn’t. https://www.printables.com

There’s also Cults3d which has a lot of files, but some are not free. https://cults3d.com
