I have a new Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro. It works perfectly although the Auto Level does not work correctly. When I do Auto Level before a new print the level is out. When I use Aux Level everything is fine and it works correctly.

Did you manually tram (level) the bed before trying to use auto level? That is normally needed in order to get the bed within the range that auto levelling probes can handle.

Ender5r Rango, I agree with Ender5r. I highly recommend manually leveling the printer before you use ABL. I would go even farther. Some of the printers I have reviewed do not have an easy way to level the print bed and rely on ABL manually. From now on, I will not recommend a printer without the ability to manually level the print bed and then use the ABL.

I've never been tempted to install a leveling system on my Ender 3 pro nor a filament runout. They just seem to be more things to worry about.

It is definitely possible to get a BL Touch style probe working -- I'm using a genuine BL Touch on my Ender 5 with good results. I imagine the CR Touch is just as capable.

Has Z offset been set and saved? I have no direct experience with ABL, but remember Z-Offset setting is necessary. Auto level needs to keep nozzle from hitting bed in ABL routine, Z-Offset, moves Z to correct height for printing.Last edited by KitCarlson; 05-12-2022, 05:07 PM.

I need advise with preventative maintenance on my Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro. I asked the supplier for a proper maintenance manual, but they cannot help me. I think it is essential to do preventative maintenance and also know the intervals of the maintenance. Please assist.
